Weekend Bar Staff
As Plymouths busiest and best social club we have a lot of events and functions happening every weekend. We need bar staff to help cover these so if you are available to work with us we'd love to talk to you. No experience is necessary as we will train you and show you everything you need to know, you just need to be keen, available, flexible and want to make our members and guests enjoy their HPSC experience!

Bar Manager
We have a minimum expectation of you to work 30 hours per week. You may be required to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties. You are required at all times to comply with our rules, policies, and procedures.
Salary is paid weekly on a Friday.
The Company’s holiday year runs between 1st January and 31st December. If your employment starts or finishes part way through the holiday year, your holiday entitlement during that year shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis as per your time worked. Accrual of leave includes the normal working days which fall on Public holidays in England and Wales.
Experience and responsibilities:

The successful candidate must be a Personal Licence holder and become the Club’s Designated Premises Supervisor.

Key holder.

Management of Staff.

Staff training in compliance with Licencing law.

Staff meetings.

Bar, Cellar and Stock room management, cleaning, and maintenance.

Risk assessments.

Health and Safety.
-
Ordering and management of stock.

Dealing with Reps.
-
Working with the Stock taker.
-
Cashing up, recording of takings, receipts, and trading statements.

Managing the safes.
-
Bar pricing.
-
Bar promotions.

Christmas draw.
-
Weekly bonus ball, bottle draws, meat raffles.

Food for sports teams home matches.

Phone enquiries.

Function bookings.
-
Memberships.

Customer care.

First aider.
You are required to attend the Clubs monthly Committee meeting, usually held on the third Monday of each month from 1930 hrs and give a Bar report.
On call 24/7 for specified conditions.
On call for alarms.
